Witch one do you want ?
I'm doing all the voice and the voice.ini file, I'm far from finished ...
Otherwise, on the original one, I did not change anything by the duration indicated at the end of the file

Pourquoi tu modifie la durée ???
Tu as mis le DFPlayer ?
Why do you change the duration ???
Did you put the DFPlayer?
is the sound of the module in the background?
the Hp that I installed, it is ultra flat but without registration, it is well 4 cm in diameter and the membrane is streaked "in a whirlwind".
In the photo it is installed in a chicken rc with an MP3 player that I turn on with a servo and the sound of chuckle are very high aloft despite its small size.

Thanks for the info jejeg !
I tried to change the duration because as explained in a previous post, some mp3 files are not read in full ... for example: "timer 2 exp ... ..d ... seconds"
Time is sometimes not even stated.
Otherwise, yes, of course I use a dfplayer, and the volume is 10 in the radio. Can we fix it differently ?

On the module on pin "io2: 11" and GND you can mount the sound by inserting a pusher or make a temporary contact with a wire.
Try with a thread and you'll see if it improves the volume.

I don't like cross posting, but it's relevant enough and I don't know if everybody follows the relevant thread:
Something for all you voice fans to play with:
The brand new deviation voice packer!
It allows you to simply enter a list of text messages and automatically generate a zip file with voice mp3s and voice.ini including global alerts (welcome, battery low etc.) and the custom alerts you have entered.
Please keep discussion about the voicepacker in the associated thread .

I found that my speakers weren't very loud so I put two together in a box. Even still, due to the position of the audio box on the back of the TX it still wasn't loud enough for me, so I used Adobe Audition to batch process and boost all sound files by 5db. Works a treat now and is loud enough without being too distorted. If anybody would like me to do the same drop me a PM. I'm a bit busy with all my children but I can resend it back to you as soon as I can

I could add automatic normalizing and companding (or other eq like loudness) to the voicepacker, but I will first have to take a look at the input files and see what seems reasonable to do. Implementation itself should be simple. Could you possibly take a look at the files in Audacity or similar and see which filters give the best results in your case?

As long as it's not too much work for yourself Moeder, you've done quite a lot and I don't mind doing this simple thing to help. It really is simple for me but if you want a better solution I'd welcome it also.
I did a simple normalization across the board just so that the audio would not clip. In my opinion apart from normalising/compression the only beneficial filter or boost would be to increase clarity and remove the muddiness, especially in the male voices. I have done some audio mixing before but I am a true novice and it's all subjective anyway! How would you like me to pass the information over to you? I can take a voicepack, batch process the filters and send it over for comparison? I have little experience with Audacity but I have decent knowledge of Audition.

Should be possible with a mux voice in a complex mixer. Either directly or via a virtual channel.
