I just installed the last Nightly Build and I observed the same problem ...

Of course I updated correctly hardware.ini according to my former tx.ini....

your TX shouldn't be making noise no matter what output power you set in the menu so I wouldn't worry about that.

also as I mentioned the last build included changes in the protocol channel mapping, in that the TX changes the channels to match the protocol automatically, could this be the issue you are having? if not can you explain in more detail what is actually hapening/going wrong.

I will be updating the build in the next hour or so, so perhaps wait for that and see if there is still the same issues.

Does it means that all former models have to be updated ?

i think it will only affect new models, unless you scroll through the protocols in a current model.

what exactly is happening with your quad? also what type of quad and protocol?

a) no you shouldnt' need to update existing models.
b) did you update your hardware.ini file with your modules?

have you re-calibrated your TX, and also your quad's flight board? do you have a motor on the way out? as I don't think trims or dual rates/travel adjust will be effected in this way

it's a good idea to recalibrate your tx every time after flashing the firmware ;)

Update time again, new build is in the OP, there are very little changes this week, just changes on when the bind dialogue for the WK* protocols is shown, and also enabling channel re-ordering on the mixer page. i have also attached a build of the emulator (linux version) in the OP after some requests for it by PM.

as always if you find an issue post here or post a bug on bitbucket :)

Do the wk protos work again ?

Because I filed a ticket about it.

Edit: It's based on latest nightly, I have it on my devo7e and wk2401 doesn't work.

no they don't, but these are the only commits since last week, and before last week the wk* protocol binding screens weren't working properly either.

I've posted before that my builds are based on the nightlies, and in particular what the latest code is in pb's bitbucket at the time I build. the only difference is that I enable the layout editor and the permanent timer

Thanks for including the linux emu file on the OP now. I like toying with the emulator. It helped me find out that I had a trim control on my 7e that wasn't working porperly. If I didn't have the emulator I might not have known for some time. As it turns out there was a wire broken on the Throttle trim Up and many model.ini's don't use that particular trim as originally intended.

I also really like working with the layouts screen on the emulator instead of killing my Tx battery

when exactly does the trim move? as I and others are not experiencing this issue, so please explain exactly what you are doing and how your model.ini is set up, and what position your switches are in when the trim moves itself. otherwise we can't try to reproduce the issue.

Ok guys update time again, this week only one commit was made, this added a new protocol for the syma X4 and X6 multirotors and also some changes to the existing yd717 protocol, but as this brings the current build size to

ROM: 0x08003000 - 0x0801fff4 = 115.99kB
RAM: 0x20000000 - 0x20002464 = 9.10kB

unfortunately this may be the last build possible with all the functions enabled as 116kB is the limit for the 7e.

latest build is in the OP and as usual post any bugs or problems here or on bitbucket
