vlad_vy wrote: Can anybody to test Nine Eagles "j6pro" protocol? I would like to fix error and to do some code clean up, but I can't test it.
I have maybe an old plane with this protocol .... I will try to test ...

vlad_vy wrote: DSM2/X protocol telemetry updated. Fixed all errors that I can find. Now "Telemetry config" page work fine for all telemetry sensors.
What errors Vlad? Did you find anything more protocol code related (for normal flying)?
I understand like you wrote it that it's only some (not so important errors) about sensors and telemetry config page??

Since I only have receivers without telemetry function and the limitation on the 7e does not give us the
option menu, I really would appreciate that.

Thomas,
DSM telemetry update related to correct functioning "Telemetry config" page and displaying correct values, nothing more. Try to setup RPM alarm for previous version and for telemetry updated version. And many other sensors also had values and alarm setup problems.

Indigo`s build was the last one working for this option. For this reason I was asking several times on the forum but did not get any answer on it.
If this could be managed per model.ini, this would be a solution, but it does not work this way.

Well, I know.vlad_vy wrote: I look at DSM2/X code, it's impossible to enable protocol options (and other protocol features) because of Devo7e memory limitations. It will not fit to Devo7e memory.
That´s why I was asking for clone version with telemetry OFF. I Like to get rid of the voltage fluctuation on this protocol and,
... maybe, get a more usable version for my receivers.
In the beginning of 2015 I used this protocol on my first quad and even with fpv I had no problems within 300m.
But then Indigo left and after a more recent version of the nightly I got dropouts even at closer range
This time I noticed someone(PB?)had set the telemetry fix to ON. Switched to FRSKY and stored my DSM stuff on the shelf.
Now I would like to reactivate this for some airplanes.

What is dropouts? If it is total lost of control with telemetry enabled, in that case it should be fixed with my builds and with latest nightly builds.

Seems that the telemetry is not completely disabled,...the T212 is still switching:
No, my cells (2400 mAh) are quite new, three months old and if you take some time, here is the topic on RCGroups from 2015/02...

The dropouts were just a short time of no connection, so that the FC went into failsafe and leveled the quad. This happend sometimes 2 or 3 times on some flights at a distance of 80 to 100m. You can see and hear this on the videos.
But let me stop bothering you, good luck with the protocols. Maybe I flash a very old version for testing my planes.

Why is it not possible that when a user clicks on the symbols a popup window appears which allows you to select:
- vibration only / sound muted (for flight pack voltage alarm)
- select different sounds
I do not like editing ini files directly.
Is it really that complicated to support this type of configuration within the GUI? I do not care about 7E. Devo10 is fine.

Data Rates:
DSM2/X = 125-kbps (64-chip 8DR), Tx period 11ms or 22ms
J6Pro = 125-kbps (64-chip 8DR), Tx period 24ms
Devo = 250-kbps (32-chip 8DR), Tx period 2.4ms
It looks like "Devo" protocol transmit data much faster, therefore you do not see voltage fluctuations.

vlad_vy wrote: OK, at least on the bench new version of DSM2/X protocol work fine. Now Devo7e users can use protocol options: Telemetry = OFF/ON, OrangeRx = NO/YES.
Well done! Thanks a lot.
Now I will do some range testing, at least on ground ...(weather not suitable for flying)
