Yes, I think I got it ;)

It's pretty similar to existing HiSky protocol, except it operates @ 250kbps instead of 1Mbps, carries extra failsafe packets and has different timing (frequency hop every 5ms, send 3 packets during those 5ms).
Also, stock transmitter sends bind packets at regular interval, at lowest RF power possible after disabling the PA, that's something we can't do with deviation (at least with the nrf24l01+PA / LNA breakouts most people are using...). That may be a problem so I think I'll only send bind packets when BIND button is pressed in Deviation.

edit: test build available ;)

Here's a new test build for H501S, please check each features:

CHANNEL5, Leds
CHANNEL6, Altitude Hold
CHANNEL7, Still camera
CHANNEL8, Video camera
CHANNEL9, Headless
CHANNEL10, RTH
CHANNEL11, GPS Hold

Devo 7e
Devo 10
sources

Aren't some features mutually exclusive, like RTH or GPS HOLD ? Might be better to have them a on 3 positions channel (No GPS, GPS Hold, RTH) ?

Ok, I'll try to understand why 9 10 and 11 don't work, at least you can disable altitude hold ;)

Can you check this build please ?
I did some cleanup and I'd like to make sure I didn't break anything before I start to add telemetry.

Doesn't need to check everything, just that it binds, controls work, vTX frequency change works, leds on/off works.

Thanks :)

Hello,
Please forgive me if this was discussed already - I have a Devo7 (not Devo7e) with the upgrade cable. Would I still be able to bind this to my Hubsan x4 plus FPV using this awesome 7e Hubsan mod you've created? Or can this only be done on a 7e not a 7? It was difficult to search for just Devo7 without the "e" :)
Thanks in advance for any info you can provide.

Thanks for the quick reply - If I can get a Devo 10 for a good price I may pick one up and rebind all my quads to that :) I see Devo10 is supported.
